Years you’ve been wakeboarding: 6 years
What are your hobbies outside of wakeboarding? All sports, but mainly rugby, basketball, mountain biking and snowboarding
What is your favourite trick? Toe side 360

Do you have a pre-run routine you like to do before competitions? My pre run routine consists of some light stretches and time to get in to the zone.
What is your fitness programme and do you do anything that supports your wakeboarding? I don’t really have a fitness program, just do a lot of wakeboarding and sports training’s over the week.
What are your top tips for improving your wakeboarding? My best tip for improving is to picture yourself doing the trick and then of course practise makes perfect.
What are your essentials for a day on the water? My essentials for a day out on the lake would be a big bottle of water, sun screen, my wakeboard and a massive smile.
Bryan Simpson
Age: 48

What are your hobbies outside of wakeboarding? Surfing and eating vegan ice cream

Do you have a pre-run routine you like to do before competitions? Usually getting a bad night’s sleep, seems to always happen, too excited
What is your fitness programme and do you do anything that supports your wakeboarding? I don’t really have a fitness program, just do a lot of wakeboarding and sports training’s over the week.
What are your top tips for improving your wakeboarding? Working at a computer for 40 hrs a week which increases my enthusiasm to get out on the water every weekend.
What are your essentials for a day on the water?Lots of petrol money, a good sense of humor and a high pain threshold
Tommy Verran
Age: 12
Years you’ve been wakeboarding: since I was 6 years old
What are your hobbies outside of wakeboarding? Rugby, basketball, volleyball, wakesurfing and water skiing
What is your favourite trick? Tantrum
What are the top three songs in your playlist? Cold Heart, Trap Queen and Sicko Mode
Do you have a pre-run routine you like to do before competitions? Just practicing my tricks, making sure they are all locked in.
What is your fitness programme and do you do anything that supports your wakeboarding? I go to boxing to work on my strength and conditioning. Rugby also supports me a lot with my fitness for wakeboarding.
What are your top tips for improving your wakeboarding?Watch YouTube tutorials and also film yourself and watch the video back to see what you did wrong.
What are your essentials for a day on the water? Food, water, hat, jumper and treats!
Chelsea Rundstrom
Age: 15
Years you’ve been wakeboarding: approximately 6 years
What are your hobbies outside of wakeboarding? Dance (hip hop and jazz), touch rugby, going to the beach and hanging with friends
What is your favourite trick? Heel side indy grab wake to wake
What are the top three songs in your playlist? Smack my b**ch up – Prodigy, I got a feeling – Black Eyes Peas, Humble – Kendrick Lamar
Do you have a pre-run routine you like to do before competitions? Not really, just like to try relax, have a good breakfast and have a red bull just before my run.
What is your fitness programme and do you do anything that supports your wakeboarding? I try to eat healthy and I dance 5 times a week that keeps me really fit.
What are your top tips for improving your wakeboarding? Practice. Practice. Practice and perseverance!
What are your essentials for a day on the water?Water, food, lip balm, hat, hooded towel and nice water conditions 🙂
